American Phantasmagoria swaggers between a Texas re-enactment of the Hiroshima bombing; a London meeting between Henry James and Mark Twain to the dis-enfranchisement of Colonel Saunders and his Chicken business. This Trilogy of 3 plays including FANGS TO RICHES; THE ROCKING CHAIR; and GLORIA V. as the sanguine life and Rise and Fall of Gloria Vanderbilt and her jean business. These plays were also in "Short Plays to Long Remember" (TNT 2011) and Local Knowledge (2016) by Sanjay Agnihotri. AMERICAN PHANTASMAGORIA moves from the 18th to 21st Century events to nightmares in America. These are all intended as both warning and art in Century 21. It also includes a Introduction to world theatre from the 19th Century via Georg Buchner, Antonin Artaud, and Edward Bond to our time.
